Under the Pharmacy First scheme, our pharmacists are now empowered to assess and treat uncomplicated UTIs in women aged 16 to 64. You don't need a referral, and you don't need an appointment. You can simply walk in and ask to speak to a pharmacist.

What to expect during your visit:

1. A Private Chat: We have dedicated, private consultation rooms where you can discuss your symptoms in total confidence.

2. Clinical Assessment: Our pharmacists will ask a few questions to ensure the infection is "uncomplicated" and that treatment is safe for you.

3. On-the-Spot Treatment: If appropriate, we can prescribe and dispense a course of antibiotics right then and there. No waiting for a prescription to be sent over from the doctor!

4. Self-Care Advice: We’ll also give you tips on how to manage the pain and prevent the infection from returning, such as using specific sachets to reduce acidity.

When should you see us?

If you notice cloudy urine, pain when peeing, or a frequent need to go, come and see us sooner rather than later. Getting treated early prevents the infection from traveling to your kidneys and gets you back to your normal self much faster.
